Ambassador program terms

These terms are a plain-language summary prepared for review. They will be checked by our legal advisers before the program opens widely.
1. Who we are
The Memoryheld ambassador program is run by Studiolabs LLC, which operates memoryheld.com. Questions: hello@memoryheld.com. These terms apply to every creator accepted into the program, together with our terms of sale and privacy policy.
2. Who can take part
You must be at least 18, live in a country we ship to, and own the accounts you post from. We accept or decline applications at our discretion and may end a participation that breaks these terms.
3. Your code and your link
You get a personal code and a personal link. An order is credited to you when the shopper enters your code at checkout, or when they arrived through your link and order within 30 days. If several links were used, the last one clicked counts; a code typed at checkout counts over a link. The link is remembered with a cookie only where the visitor’s cookie choices allow it, so we cannot guarantee credit for link visits.
4. One discount per order
Your code gives the shopper 10% off the items at their sale price. It does not add to our multi-book bundle discount: the shopper gets whichever of the two saves more, never both. When the bundle saves more, the order still counts as yours. A creator code cannot be combined with another code or a gift card. Shipping and add-ons are never discounted by a creator code.
5. Commission
You earn 20% of the net sales of each order credited to you: the price of the items after every discount, without shipping and without tax. No commission is earned on your own orders, on gifted-book orders, on cancelled orders, or on the refunded part of an order.
6. Content used in our ads
We may ask to use your content in our paid advertising. With your written agreement, we credit you 5% of the revenue we attribute to those ads for the agreed period. Our attribution figures are final; we share the period and the amount with you.
7. When and how you are paid
Commission becomes payable 30 days after the order (our guarantee window), minus any refund. Each month we pay the payable balance by PayPal or bank transfer, in the currency of the orders. Balances below $25.00 / €25.00 / A$40.00 roll over to the next month. If an order is refunded after its commission was paid, the amount is deducted from your next payment. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn.
8. Disclosure is required
Every post, story, video or caption that features Memoryheld must clearly say it is advertising, in a way your audience sees before they act: the platform’s paid-partnership label, or #ad at the start of the caption, and said aloud in videos. This applies to the free book too (#gifted is not enough on its own). This follows the US FTC Endorsement Guides and the equivalent rules in the UK, the EU and Australia. Only describe your own honest experience and do not make claims about the products that you cannot back up.
9. What is not allowed
Using your own code or link for your own purchases or those of your household; bidding on “Memoryheld” or misspellings of it in paid search, or running ads that send traffic through your link; posting your code on coupon or deal sites; spam, fake reviews, or buying followers or clicks; forcing cookies or redirects; pretending to be Memoryheld or an official account. Commission earned this way is cancelled and participation may end.
10. Your free book
Once accepted you receive a one-time code for one personalised book (the most expensive book in the order, extras not included) with standard shipping. The code is personal and is spent by the order it is used on. You are free to say what you really think of it.
11. Your content
You keep the rights to your content. You allow us to repost it on our own channels with credit. Use in paid ads needs your separate agreement, as described above.
12. Changes and ending
We may change the program (including the rates) with at least 30 days’ notice by email; commission earned before the change keeps the old rate. Either side can end the participation at any time; payable commission is then paid with the next monthly payment.
13. Our relationship
You take part as an independent creator, not as an employee or agent of Studiolabs LLC. These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA.
14. Your data
We keep your application, your contact details and the record of your commission and payouts to run the program and for our accounts. Shoppers’ names and details are never shared with you. See our privacy policy, or write to hello@memoryheld.com.
